DGShow gives ShowShifter true PVR functionality

The main features are:

You can record all programmes in a series/season no matter on what channel or at what time they are broadcast, and never recording an episode you've already seen.

You can record all programs by a particular Author, or all programs with your favourite Actor, etc. (if using DigiGuide or myTVinfo DigiGuide).

Intelligent file naming.

Conflict Management.

Automatic Disc Management/Housekeeping - keep only last X episodes of a show (useful for News, Current Affairs, etc), Automatically delete old shows to make way for new shows.

If you've heard of "TIVO" then with DGShow you can do just about everything you can do with that system.

DGShow works with DigiGuide (UK & Ireland), myTVinfo Digiguide (US), TVHolic and Now Showing. For Best Results use DigiGuide or myTVinfo DigiGuide - there is a small annual charge from these providers (UK £8.99, US $29.95) but the data is much better and the PVR abilities inherrent in this source of data is excellent.

Announcing DGShow Version 5

New Features in V5:

1. Automatic Install. This is for DigiGuide and myTVinfo DigiGuide users only, you no longer need to copy files manually to different directories before and after install - Setup program puts everything where it should be, and upgrades an existing DGShow database rather than replacing it.

2. Immediately Firing Markers in DigiGuide. You no longer need to wait up to a minute for new markers to fire.

5. Fix for ShowShifter DVB Bug. If ShowShifter is not started DGShow will cope with the error on ShowShifter startup (error still remains, but DGShow now works around it).

Update 12th Aug 2008 - As this program has been mature for a number of years now I am now making the registered version available to all. The registered version of Enquiry.exe (without the Nag Screen and Warning messages) can be obtained as follows:
